Prokrastination

  • Excellent – pool party at your place! (Oh. Not funny? Sorry)

I daren’t phone my dad to ask how his boat is (moored on the North Wales coast and now probably matchsticks) and a friend who was flying from Bournemouth to Paderborn yesterday (ETA in Paderborn 10.30) finally called at 20.00 to say they’d just arrived in Düsseldorf instead. It’s a bit breezy here too but nothing too nasty – certainly don’t need to worry about flooding at 500m above sea level (and about 75 above lake level).

Hope your cellar escaped the worst, if not completely. Don’t worry – this is what insurance is for and it can all be replaced, unlike the poor people who got in the way of trees, walls etc.
